"Life's precious moments don't have value unless they are shared."
Here's a life and business truth. Generally, people buy from people they like. Isn't it true that people like other
people who take the time to pay special attention to the things that interest them?
It's not necessary to be a private investigator. It is
important to operate on a selective business basis. Are you extra observant when dealing with your top accounts and
valuable associates? You certainly should be able to afford extra time with key customers and those who help create your
paycheck. These people are all very important. Here's something to think about. Are all contacts on the same business level?
Success in sales extends to conversations. Listening and hearing whatever your client wants to talk about can make
or break you. Know the difference. Without being a busy-body, you can determine a lot about the customer's background,
family history, culture, sport favorites, hobbies and business objectives.
It's wise to assess their vacation destinations, as well as
opinions about family, health, fitness and exercise, food, and more. You won't need to create a mountain of this
background information because the number of customers that you'll be developing this deep, will probably be limited to
your "key", potentially long-term, relationship accounts.
In the service industry, success rates can depend on how
fast you can make friends. Even small details can pay off. That kind of specialized selling has a valuable place, if
you're in a small business. With multiple call accounts, it benefits you to target key customers. Give them that extra,
extra, attention that helps bond the business with a super cemented performance. Using professional time in accordance
with the importance of the customer in mind, is always a very acceptable and productive business practice.
