Risk Fright Factor in Sales - What Is It?

========================

How high is your Risk Fright Factor? True success always
involves some degree of intelligent risk. Notice I said
intelligent.

Do you make a habit of discouraging yourself from taking
even slight risks? If so, have you regretted these times,
after the fact? Think about the last time you avoided an
intelligent, risky, proposition. Did you learn anything?
Why DID you hold yourself back? Or did you stick your neck
out for a winner? Was it a winner? If it was, good for you.

Many contributing factors add to this miserable Risk Factor,
state of mind. Lack of self-esteem or self confidence and
lack of money and time, can be key negatives. Unexplained
fear of failure is also a part of Risk Fright. Reflect back
on those risks that you passed up. If you had followed
through, where would you be right now? It's not always a
pleasant thought but we all miss the boat, on occasion.

Family and friends can be the most non-supportive people n
the world when you want to take some kind of a risk, Why is
that? Maybe they have Risk Fright too. Security "seems"
easier and better than risk to them. Their reasons are
numerous and usually but not always, unfounded. They simply
would rather do without something than risk loss.

Always try to make intelligent risk decisions. "Calculated
Risks" are easier and smarter. Nothing great has been
accomplished without risk taking. Ponder that thought. Where
would we all be if everyone had changed their minds about
the risk gamble? Our lives are the sum or the results, of
risky business - take your best Calculated Risk. Let them
all laugh at you, all the way to the bank.
